“Our Blues Makes Us Gold,” an American history story that is an informative, educational, and emotional documentary, is the compelling story of North Carolina A&T State University, our Nation’s largest and leading HBCU, from its inception up to the present. This film is a story of perseverance and triumph, of challenges and achievement despite obstacles natural and man-made, yet failure was never an option. It mirrors the journey of Black America over the past 134 years against a backdrop of struggle for our people while never losing hope and always finding a way to win. It chronicles the lives of notable alumni like astronaut Ronald McNair, Reverend Jesse Jackson, and Janice Bryant Howroyd. Other notables are Reverend Al Sharpton and David Banner.
