VICTORY is a genre-defying cinematic visual album from hip-hop icon Slick Rick (Ricky Walters), executive produced by actor Idris Elba and directed by British filmmaker Meji Alabi (Beyoncé’s Black Is KingBurna Boy). Four years in the making, the project was born from a mustard seed of a dream between Idris and Rick — to tell our stories, our way — with truth, style, and elevation.

Filmed across three continents (America to Africa) and recorded in both France and London., VICTORY blends vérité storytelling, bold performance, and surreal visual language to deliver a fresh, global statement on identity, self-expression, and creative legacy. British actors portray Rick across different life stages, while features from Idris, Nas and Giggs anchor the project in a cross-Atlantic conversation.

At its core, VICTORY is proof that storytelling in hip-hop is not only alive — it’s evolving and can be delivered with class. The film reimagines what a hip-hop narrative can be: cinematic, poetic, unfiltered, and unapologetically elevated.

This is not nostalgia. This is now — and VICTORY is the voice, the vision, and the moment.
