This panel discusses the continued importance of seeing Black people in moving images and the role museums play in safekeeping stories of Black history and culture. As the museum approaches its 10-year anniversary, the panelists highlight the efforts of the National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC) over the years to collect, digitize, and preserve the beauty of Black life as captured on film, video, and sound.
