Leadership is often measured by the title someone holds, the institution they lead, or the resources they manage. But for many Black women shaping the future of entrepreneurship, philanthropy, and economic opportunity, the work has always been bigger than the job. This session will examine the full arc of ecosystem building: how leaders are incubated, how ventures and institutions are accelerated, and how ecosystems are sustained through capital, community, mentorship, cross-sector collaboration, and purposeful leadership beyond the formal role.

Moderated by Shawna Young, CEO of Camelback Ventures, Liz Thompson, Founder & CEO of The CAFE Group and Regenia Sanders of Atlanta Office Managing Partner of Ernst & Young join us for a light lunch and a candid discussion on the many ways Black women lead across institutions, sectors, and geographies. Together, they will explore what it means to resource leaders, invest in genius, open doors, build networks, and pay forward access in spaces where Black women and entrepreneurs have too often been underfunded, underestimated, and left to navigate systems alone.
