Presented by GLAAD x W.K. Kellogg Foundation, this session explores how film and visual storytelling can shape culture, influence perception, and expand what is possible for Black communities. Centered on the role of narrative change, the conversation will examine how stories on screen can challenge harmful stereotypes, affirm the full complexity of Black life, and create greater visibility for LGBTQ people and other historically marginalized voices. Bringing together leaders across media, advocacy, and culture, this discussion will highlight why storytelling is not only creative expression, but also a critical strategy for connection, representation, and lasting social change.
