Event Access & Restrictions
Yes. All festival parties and receptions are for guests 21 years of age and older. A valid government-issued photo ID is required for entry.
Yes. The White Party has a strict all-white attire dress code. Guests not dressed in all white may be denied entry.
No. Festival passes provide access but do not guarantee admission. Entry to all screenings and events is subject to venue capacity. We strongly encourage pass holders to arrive early, especially for high-demand screenings and special events.
Yes. Many screenings, conversations, and special events reach capacity. Even if you have a festival pass, we recommend arriving 30–45 minutes early, as seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis until the venue reaches capacity.
No. Festival passes are non-transferable and may only be used by the registered pass holder.
No. While MVAAFF is proud to welcome an extraordinary lineup of filmmakers, actors, creators, and industry leaders each year, all guest appearances, moderators, panelists, screening schedules, and event programming are subject to change without notice. Festival passes and tickets are non-refundable due to programming or guest changes.
Refund & Ticket Policies
All ticket, pass, Special Event, and merchandise purchases are final and non-refundable. Please review your order carefully before completing your purchase.
Lost, forgotten, or misplaced tickets and passes cannot be replaced. Please keep your confirmation email and festival credentials in a safe place throughout the festival.
Venue & Entry Information
Complimentary parking is available at the Martha’s Vineyard Performing Arts Center. Parking at most other festival venues is limited. We strongly encourage guests to use rideshare services whenever possible.
Outside food and beverages are not permitted inside the auditorium. Guests may enjoy food and beverages in designated hospitality areas, including the Vineyard Lounge adjacent to the PAC lobby.
Late seating is not guaranteed. We strongly recommend arriving 30–45 minutes prior to your scheduled screening. Once the theater reaches capacity or the screening has begun, entry may not be permitted—even for festival pass holders.
Re-entry is not guaranteed and is subject to venue capacity. If you leave a screening, your seat may be released to another guest.

Most festival venues are ADA accessible. Guests requiring accommodations are encouraged to contact us in advance so we can best assist you.
Yes. Service animals, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), are welcome at festival venues.
Festival Etiquette
Please silence all mobile devices before entering the theater. Out of respect for filmmakers and fellow guests, texting, phone calls, and other disruptive use of electronic devices are not permitted during screenings.
No. Photography, video recording, audio recording, livestreaming, or recording any portion of a film screening is strictly prohibited. Unauthorized recording may result in removal from the venue.
We encourage guests to remain seated until the conclusion of the film. If you must leave, please do so quietly to minimize disruption to fellow attendees.
Photography & Media
Yes. By attending MVAAFF, you grant the festival permission to photograph, film, and record your likeness for use in promotional, marketing, editorial, and archival materials.
